Questions about writing

Can Ann help me get my book published?

The best way to become a published author is to do a bit of research about the book publishing business and what it takes to write and sell a book proposal (in the case of a non-fiction book) or a fully polished work of fiction (in the case of a novel or a collection of short stories). There are a number of excellent books on these topics (How to Write a Book Proposal by Michael Larsen is the book Ann recommends to other writers time and time again). Attending workshops offered by a professional associations for writers or by digital/independent publishers is another way to learn what is involved in seeking publication through traditional trade publishing channels or going it alone as an indie author.

Once you have a non-fiction book proposal under development, you are in a position to benefit from some additional coaching/consulting. At that point, Ann can work with you to strengthen your book proposal to make it more saleable to a traditional book publisher or to help you to hone your book publicity and promotion stategy for your own self-published work. E-mail Ann for details.
